Jai Rodriguez began his career at 18 when he was cast as Angel in the Broadway musical Rent. He continued on Broadway in shows like The Producers and Spinning Into Butter. Jai created and starred in the Off-Broadway hit Zanna, Don't!

In tandem with Broadway, Jai became a star in New York nightlife with his concert series Twisted Cabaret. The show ran for three consecutive years at Club XL.
